Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop by consumers and business customers.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed. A business customer is a natural or legal person or a legally capable partnership acting in the exercise of its commercial or self-employed professional activity.

With respect to business customers: Any conflicting or supplementary general terms and conditions used by the business customer are hereby rejected and shall only become part of the contract if expressly agreed by us.

2. Contracting Party, Contract Formation, Correction Options

The purchase contract is concluded with Ackermann Hohmann & Sedlacek OHG.

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. You may initially place products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided during the ordering process. By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the products in the shopping cart. Confirmation of receipt of your order will be sent by email immediately after submission.

We accept your offer within two days by:

  • sending a declaration of acceptance in a separate email, or
  • processing the payment transaction via our service provider or the selected payment service provider. The time of payment processing depends on the chosen payment method (see “Payment”).

The relevant option depends on which of these events occurs first.

3. Contract Language, Storage of Contract Text

The languages available for concluding the contract are: German and English.

We store the contract text and send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions in text form. You can view the contract text in your customer login.

4. Subject Matter of the Contract

4.1 Product Description

The respective product description applies as an essential part of the contract.

4.2 Product Images

Without prejudice to your statutory warranty rights, we draw your attention to the following:

Due to individual screen configurations (e.g. resolution and brightness), minor deviations between the displayed and actual product colors may occur.

5. Delivery Conditions

5.1 Shipping Costs

In addition to the stated prices, shipping costs of EUR 5 apply for standard shipping.

5.2 Delivery Options

We deliver the products to the delivery address specified during the ordering process.

You may also collect your order from Ackermann Taschenmanufaktur, Goseburgstr. 27, 21339 Lüneburg, Germany, during business hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding public holidays. Please inform us at least two working days in advance so that we can prepare the goods. Payment by EC card and PIN is possible on site.

6. Payment

6.1 Prices

The prices stated at the time of ordering apply. All prices include statutory VAT.

6.2 Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available in our shop:

Advance Payment
If you choose advance payment, we will provide our bank details in a separate email and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.

Credit Card
You enter your credit card details during the order process. Your card will be charged immediately after placing the order.

Apple Pay
To pay via Apple Pay, you must use the Safari browser, be registered with Apple, have Apple Pay activated, authenticate yourself, and confirm the payment. The transaction is processed immediately after placing the order.

PayPal / PayPal Express
To pay via PayPal, you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate yourself, and confirm the payment. The transaction is processed immediately after placing the order.

PayPal may offer additional payment options to selected customers. We have no influence over these options.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal as described in the withdrawal information. No voluntary right of withdrawal is granted to business customers.

8. Retention of Title

The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

9. Transport Damage

For consumers: Please report obvious transport damage immediately to the carrier and contact us promptly. Failure to do so does not affect your statutory rights.

For business customers: The risk passes to you once the goods are handed over to the carrier.

10. Warranty and Guarantees

The statutory warranty rights apply unless otherwise stated.

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, guarantees, and product liability.

12. Dispute Resolution

We are willing to participate in an out-of-court dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Final Provisions

If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special public fund, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is our registered office.
